Hugh
: "Umm...a simple discount will not suffice. I can very easily go to another hotel who can offer me what I actually ask them for!"
Manager 
: "I can assure you there is no need to do that. If you wish to stay in your current room, I can offer you a discount of 75 per cent. However I understand that this is a smoking room and you requested a non-smopking room, so if you would consider changing to a standard room, I can offer you a 50 per cent discount on that as well. Also, I can give you a free evening meal."
ヒュー 「うーん。。。単なる値引きでは十分とは言えない。私は、私が本当に求めているものを提供してくれる他のホテルに、簡単に行くことができるんだからな！」
マネージャー 「その必要はありません事を保証いたしします。現在のお部屋の宿泊でよろしければ、75％割引をご提示できます。ただし、そちらは喫煙可の部屋で、お客様は禁煙ルームをご希望なのはわかっております。ですから、もしスタンダードルームに変更をお考えの場合は、そちらも50％割引をご提示できます。さらに、無料の御夕食をご用意いたします。」
